Total Drummer

This is the seven eight drum course 101.  It teaches you how to understand and count in seven eight by breaking it down and showing that it's not weird, it's not scary, it just needs understanding. 

Once we have that understanding we will build a vocabulary of essential seven eight grooves as well as a series of fills. Armed with these you can not only play in seven eight time signature, but also add variety so you sound interesting. It gives you the freedom to switch things up and build a drum part rather than just hanging on for dear life.

And this acts as a springboard so you can move on to the next level afterwards such as the seven eight drumless backing track and an exciting seven eight funk beat.
